Moto continues to make a significant impact in both the global and Indian smartphone markets with a flurry of new releases. Among the latest additions, the Lenovo-owned brand recently introduced the Moto G54 5G and Moto G84 5G smartphones in India, catering to the budget and lower mid-range segments. Notably, Moto has now unveiled an upper mid-range offering in India, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, which represents the most affordable option in the Edge 40 series.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo boasts a range of impressive features, including a pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and an IP68 rating for enhanced durability. The press render of this upcoming Motorola smartphone was shared by the well-known tipster, Evan Blass, on X (formerly Twitter). While the official moniker of the smartphone remains undisclosed, Blass did reveal its model number, XT-2417. The render also confirms the presence of a dual rear camera setup, with a camera module that slightly protrudes from the rear panel, accompanied by an integrated LED flash. The primary rear camera is expected to be a 50MP sensor.
The render suggests that this particular device is likely a budget-friendly offering from Moto. It prominently displays the Motorola logo in the center of the rear panel, and the power button and volume rockers can be seen on the right side. Notably, the render also indicates relatively thick bezels at the top and bottom of the display, reinforcing its status as a budget-oriented smartphone.
